My New Hood...

I haven't disappeared, I've just relocated. More specific photos are available on this blog, but for a fabulous overview of where I've now positioned myself, see the Google Earth satellite photo of my new town, Manly. Manly is a beachside suburb of Sydney, most easily accessible via a beautiful, 35-minute ferry ride from Sydney Harbour. Scale is difficult to capture on a satellite photo, so I'll just tell you that the ferry dock is a 3-minute walk from my apartment (indicated on the map) and Manly Beach a 4-minute walk. Note that my apartment is close to a green space. That green space happens to be the local cricket round. No, I did not get an ocean-view (which will have to wait for another time in my life), but a balcony overlooking the rugby field is an appreciated alternative...
